Inventory Coordinator 

Our client, a very successful global packaging solutions company, is looking for an experienced Inventory Coordinator to join their team in Norfolk. 

Inventory Coordinator Role Package
  • £23,000 - £25,000 pa basic
  • 37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday
  • 25 days holiday plus banks.
Inventory Coordinator Job Purpose:
  • Responsible for the co-ordination of all stock inventory tasks, ensuring receipt, storage, product data and stock management is accurately maintained and completed, ensuring administration
  • and records are completed within required timings.
  • Support Inventory and Warehouse teams with reporting and monitoring of stock levels and locations, ensuring processes are documented and managed efficiently, seeking and implementing continuous improvements.
  • Responsible for cycle and annual stock counts, ensuring accuracy KPI levels are achieved.
  • Monitor and report on Inventory KPIs, implementing actions and collaborate across multiple functions ensuring key metrics and performance is achieved.
  • Manage stock & product related master data tasks and cover all associated administration.
  • Support relevant cross-functional working and collaborate with other departments to ensure knowledge sharing and any competence gaps are improved.
Responsibilities of a Inventory Coordinator:
  • Ensure all tasks within the stock inventory department are accurately completed on time
  • to help achieve overall service and identified targets.
Responsible for managing stock control processes & procedures, as an Inventory Coordinator you will be covering, but not limited to;
  • Goods receipt
  • Stock movement
  • Stock invoicing
  • Cycle counting
  • Aged stock
  • Dispatch.
As an Inventory Coordinator, you will also be:
  • Assisting Stock Inventory Manager with reporting monthly Inventory KPIs, collating and providing data, insight and trends to highlight processes and working improvements to improve performance.
  • Compile any logistics data/reports as required
  • Responsible for stock receipt process, ensure high accuracy levels and controls are achieved.
  • Entering stock data within the system to record and report to all relevant parties.
Skills and experience required for the Inventory Coordinator role:
  • Working knowledge of high demand logistics/stock environment
  • Good experience on Inventory management & co-ordination
  • Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal skills and a ‘Can Do’ approach
  • Proven ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload
  • High attention to detail and high level of work accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent numeracy skills and MS Office proficient
  • Able to make decisions in a pressured/busy environment
  • Sound working knowledge of warehousing and materials handling
  • Ideally fully licensed and certified forklift driver with recent FLT experience
  • Demonstrates a strong awareness and appreciation of safety requirements
  • Able to work on own or in a small team and with minimum supervision.
