  • Base Salary: Approximately £45,000,
  • Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 5:00 pm

Our client, a well-established family-operated automotive repair center located in Bedford, is seeking a skilled MET Technician to join their proficient team. This MET Technician vacancy arises from the Bodyshop's expansion, driven by the acquisition of prestigious new contracts.

The ideal MET Technician:
  • you should ideally possess NVQ Level 3 certification or an equivalent qualification in vehicle accident repair, and ATA accreditation would be a plus.
  • Alternatively, the workshop is open to considering experienced technicians whose certifications need renewal, a process which the employer is willing to support financially.
  • Current workshop experience.
  • A valid UK driving license, and personal tools are also prerequisites.
  • Individuals lacking current qualifications are still encouraged to apply, as the company offers avenues for certification reinstatement.
MET Technician Responsibilities: 
  • Great eye for detail. 
  • Contributing to achievement of sales targets established by the Bodyshop Manager.
  • Working with High-end prestige vehicles. 
  • Ensuring consistently high-quality workmanship.
  • Adhering to stringent Health & Safety protocols.
  • Following company administrative protocols, including completing job documentation.
  • Effective communication skills are essential, facilitating seamless workflow coordination with colleagues to meet and exceed customer expectations.
Compensation for this position will be determined by experience and skill level.
