  • Basic Salary: From £28,000 
  • OTE after bonus: From £34,000
  • Working 40 hours per week 
  • Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm
  • 1 in 3 Saturdays

My client is a well known main dealer located in Northampton. They are now looking for a service technician to join their workshop team. The company themselves are a leading training provider and you will be kept up to date with manufacturer training, EV/Hybrid training and further career development opportunities.

Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Execute routine vehicle maintenance tasks, adhering to manufacturer specifications and guidelines.
  • Perform comprehensive technical diagnostics and repairs on vehicles to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles, identifying potential issues and recommending necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve service goals and meet customer satisfaction targets.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in automotive technology and attend relevant training sessions to enhance technical expertise.
  • Adhere to the highest quality standards set by the dealership and ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.

Requirements to apply for the Vehicle Technician role:
  • Qualified to level 3 or equivalent. 
  • Automotive workshop experience.
  • Full UK Driving License. 
  • MOT License would be an advantage (not required)
  • Main dealer experience would be an advantage (not required)
  • Good communication skills.
