Senior Vehicle Technician Vacancy - Northampton Independent Garage 
  • Flexible Basic Salary: circa £40,000 (varies with experience) 
  • Monday - Thursday 8:00am -  5:30pm
  • Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
  • Overtime available. 
  • No weekends worked!
My client is a family run independent garage located just outside of Northampton. They have a very strong reputation to be one of the best independents in Northamptonshire, they pride themselves on their workshop team of some of the most highly skilled Vehicle Technicians in the area. 

They have a long-standing history of business in the area, as such they have a modern and well-kept workshop with all up-to-date equipment. As a result of their success they're able to offer highly competitive basic salaries, starting at an average of £40,000. 

They now have a vacancy for a Senior Vehicle Technician and are ideally looking for someone with a good amount of workshop experience. Ideally you will have experience with one of the following manufacturers: BMW, Mercedes, VWG or JLR.  They are seeking those that come from a main dealer background, however, If you're an experienced Senior Vehicle Technicianwith ability to complete cambelts replacements, service diagnostics, looking for a more senior role, and paycheck, this could be your next big opportunity.

Responsibilities in this Senior Vehicle Technician role include: 
  • Service and Maintenance of a variety of makes and models 
  • Liaising with your workshop team as well as advisors to keep customers informed. 
  • The garage also deal with Servicing, MOT's, Diagnostics, Wheel Alignment, Tyres, Air-con, Braking Systems, and other repairs including engines, timing belts, clutches, gearboxes, ect.
The successful Senior Vehicle Technician will be:
  • Confident in all aspects of light vehicle maintenance and repair. 
  • Hold a Level 3 qualification or equivalent (experienced candidates without qualifications also considered)
  • Strong communication skills
  • MOT License, hybrid qualifications and diagnostic experience is highly desired.
