Our Client, a well-established independent garage is looking for a Service Advisor to join their busy service team. Ideally from an automotive background, however this company are willing to accommodate someone with a keen interest in all things automotive, who is looking for their first job in the motor trade.
Service Advisor are the first point of contact for customers bringing their vehicle in for a service and are responsible for selling labour hours, accurately recording vehicle faults and obtaining authority and payments for repairs.
You will also be responsible for ordering parts. Applicants must, therefore, have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
My client is looking for candidates with service knowledge would be an advantage along with good computer skills, above all, a high level of enthusiasm along with acute attention to detail needs to be delivered by the applicant to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
Other responsibilities of a Service Advisor include:
- Customer Service: Greet customers, answer calls and emails, schedule appointments, and keep customers informed about their vehicle status.
- Appointment Management: Efficiently schedule and coordinate service appointments with mechanics.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate customer records, handle paperwork, and assist with forms and documents.
- Communication: Relay customer concerns, vehicle issues, and repair progress between customers and technicians.
- Issue Resolution: Address customer complaints, collaborate with the team for solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction.
