PDI Vehicle Technician / Service Mechanic Required in Bordon, Hampshire

Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (No weekend work required)
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum (Depending on experience)

Our client is a dynamic and rapidly expanding car dealership located in Bordon, Hampshire. They are currently seeking a dedicated PDI Vehicle Technician / Service Mechanic to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to grow with a company that is continuously expanding.

Key Responsibilities of a PDI Technician / Service Mechanic with our client:
  • Conducting pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on new vehicles to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Performing routine maintenance and servicing on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues on various makes and models of vehicles.
  • Completing all work efficiently and accurately, following manufacturer guidelines and dealership procedures.
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues and management to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.
Requirements Of the PDI Technician:
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Service Mechanic, preferably within a dealership environment.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant qualifications/certifications in automotive mechanics (NVQ, City & Guilds, etc.) are desirable but not essential.
  • Willing to undergo additional training and personal development programme agreed with you and management - stay on top of your game with continuous technological advancements in the automotive industry
