  • Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:30
  • NO WEEKENDS
Our Client a friendly independent garage based who has been based in Chichester area since the early 1980s are currently seeking a Vehicle Technician to join their team.

Our Client specialising within problem solving and diagnostics for both the general public and automotive trade. Ideally our Client is seeking an individual who is a logical thinker, and enjoys solving tricky issues.

They have a fully equipped and ultra-modern workshop, benefitting from the latest diagnostic equipment, dedicated MOT bay, air-conditioned office & break room, as well as fully equipped kitchen. You will be assigned your own ramp and be working alongside a highly skilled team of 6 vehicle technicians.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician with our Client:
  • Carrying out vehicle services and repairs in accordance with company standards.
  • Liaising directly with customers where appropriate.
  • Undertaking Diagnostics of all makes and models of vehicles
  • Servicing
  • Oil Changes
  • Maintenance
  • Tyre Fitting
  • Workshop Duties
  • Undertake MOT Testing if applicable
  • Providing support to less experienced colleagues.
  • Attending training to update technical skills.
  • Ensuring that the immediate working environment is kept clean and devoid of any working practice which may be hazardous to either themselves or others.
What our Client expects of their Technicians:
  • Relevant City & Guilds, IMI, BTEC or NVQ accreditation or Equivalent
  • Ideally an MOT Testing Licence – Desirable but not essential
  • Previous work experience within a garage workshop environment
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Commitment to delivering first class customer service.
  • Able to plan, organise self and meet agreed work deadlines.
