We are currently working with a well-established Automotive Dealership Group covering over 10 sites and representing some the UK's most sought after automotive brands.

Our well established client are seeking an experienced Parts Advisor to join their expanding Automotive Parts team within their Car Dealership operation in Basingstoke. They are seeking a Parts Advisor who has at least 1 years experience within a Main Dealership, or similar environment, to join and support the work of their Parts and Workshop department. You must hold a full UK driving licence to be considered for this role.

This is a crucial role to the success of the business, as such, the rewards and career progression they offer set them apart from other Dealerships in their local area.

  • £26,000 Basic Salary / £29,000 OTE
  • Monday To Friday 7.30am - 5.30pm - 1 In 2 Saturday Mornings 8.30am - 12.30pm (Overtime Paid)

Within this Parts Advisor role your typical duties will include: 
  • Receiving and unloading new stock and deliveries. 
  • Respond to internal workshop and external customer queries on a face to face basis, phone and email. 
  • Pick and distribute parts for the Technicians within the Workshop, working from job sheets and alongside the Service Advisor and Sales Team within the dealership. 
  • Ensuring a prompt and courteous manner when dealing with customer enquiries, selling the benefits of products and services.
  • Ensure accurate ordering, checking and location of all parts, reporting stock discrepancies and damage to the Service Manager.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with all internal and external customers updating records as necessary.
  • Daily parts deliveries (company van supplied) average of 3 hours a day
