Within this Service Technician vacancy, your duties are:
  • Thoroughly inspect vehicles for safety, reliability, and performance, providing reports for MOT.
  • Identify and report defects or impending failures in vehicle components.
  • Safeguard vehicles during repairs and conduct post-repair inspections for damage and cleanliness.
  • Participate in relevant training and assist in apprentice training when required.
  • Obtain authorization before fitting unauthorized parts on customer vehicles.
  • Ensure proper completion and signing off of service and maintenance sheets, customer defect reports, and other documentation
To qualify for this Service Technician vacancy, you must have:
  • A Minimum Level 3 City and Guilds (or equivalent) in Vehicle Repair.
  • Experience in diagnostics and using computers.
  • A full, UK driving licence.
  • A positive, right first time attitude.
  • A strong team player mentality
  • The ability to work to a very high standard.
  • Good communication skills.
  • A willingness to learn and develop.
