Our client a Commercial Automotive Workshop are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Commercial Parts Advisor to join their dynamic mechanical team in Burgess Hill, West Sussex. As a vital member of a team, you will play a key role in providing exceptional service to our customers and supporting the smooth operation of our parts department.

Role Overview:

  • Position: Commercial Parts Advisor
  • Location: Burgess Hill, West Sussex
  • Hours: 39 hours per week
  • Shift Pattern: Alternating earlies and lates
  • Saturday Rotas: 1 in 2 Saturday mornings
Responsibilities as a Parts Advisor with out client:

  • Assist workshop technician in identifying and sourcing correct vehicle parts, providing expert advice and guidance as needed.
  • Process orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of our product range and industry trends to effectively meet customer needs.
  • Collaborate with other team members to optimize department performance and exceed targets.
  • Utilise computer systems and databases to manage stock levels and process orders.
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times, building strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the automotive industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle parts and accessories.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and basic IT skills.
  • Flexibility to work alternating shifts and occasional Saturday mornings as required.
