  • Location: Bedford
  • Basic Salary: Circa £40,000 + Bonus
  • Up to £1500 a month (Profit Share)
  • 5 Day working week
  • Monday to Saturday, 9:00am - 6:00pm (Day off in the week)
  • Saturdays: 10:00am - 5:00pm

Our client is a respected independent garage based in the Bedford area. They are currently seeking a motivated individual with a strong management background to join their team as a Centre Manager.

They are a highly regarded service provider with a commitment to delivering excellence in customer service and vehicle maintenance. With a focus on innovation and continuous improvement, they have built a loyal customer base and earned a reputation for reliability and professionalism in the motor trade.

The Centre is well established and the owner, who is the current manager, is looking to focus on new business ventures, meaning his position as garage manager is now available. You will be reporting to him, and he is still in the picture, but the success of this garage means they are able to expand elsewhere. 

 Responsibilities Of The Independent Garage Manager Role:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the workshop, ensuring smooth workflow and exceptional customer service.
  • Manage customer inquiries, scheduling, and administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Provide effective leadership and guidance to a team of MOT testers, technicians, and office staff.
  • Monitor performance metrics and devise strategies to optimise productivity and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Requirements Of The Independent Garage Manager Role:
  • Proven experience in a management role within the automotive industry.
  • Technical background and comprehensive understanding of automotive systems.
