MOT Tester needed for Cockermouth
  • Basic Salary up to c. £31,200
  • OTE c. £35,000
  • Working Hours: 40 - Hours per week (Saturdays on a 1 in 4 Rota basis).

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent required.
  • This clients offers manufacturer accreditation training as well as EV training to keep up with the movement in the industry.

Our client, a renowned Franchised Dealership, is seeking an MOT Tester to join their team in the Cockermouth area. I have worked alongside the client for a while and have placed many happy candidates here! The ideal candidates will have an NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent qualification with and MOT licence essential.

What will the successful MOT Tester do?
  • Repair and service vehicles.
  • Complete Accurate MOT Tests
  • Complete diagnostic checks.
  • Inspect for wear and tears/general faults.
  • Complete work to DVSA standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
The successful MOT Tester will have:
  • A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3.
  • Current MOT Licence
  • Current experience as an MOT Tester
  • Own Set of Tools.
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • MOT License desirable.
The successful MOT Tester will get:
  • Basic Salary of c.£31,200
  • OTE of c.£35,000.
