My client, a successful vehicle dealer, is looking for an experienced New Car Retail Manager to join their team in Carlisle. In this Car Sales Manager role, you will be responsible for leading the sales team into success, meeting company KPIs, and ensuring you are utilising the tools within the business to ensure success. 

This Car Sales Manager role would be great for those of you who are experienced in car sales and can step up to manage the people side of the business. You will be experienced in leading a team in some capacity however, but let me know your experience and we can discuss it further.

The New Car Sales Manager will:
  • Lead the Sales team to manage customer enquiries to meet the sales standards
  • Lead the team to carry out prospecting activity to meet the business standards
  • Ensure the dealership achieves all compliance standards to meet requirements from the regulator
  • Responsible for coaching and leading the team to have excellent product knowledge, presentation skills agreeing and recording all action plans on the monthly 1:1 review.  
  • Carry out the sales process utilising all the sales tools available using video, appraisals, enquiry management system.
The New Car Retail Manager will have:
  • Previous experience in a sales and people management background
  • A full UK Driving Licence 
  • Excellent Oral communication skills and experience working in a customer focused environment 
  • Experience leading a team in the motor trade would be desirable, but not essential.
The New Car Sales Manager will receive:
  • Basic Salary of up to c.£34,859 with an excellent OTE of up to c.£54,428!
  • Excellent benefits included with the package for you and your family. 
  • Company car included with this role.
  • 33 days holiday incl. bank.
