Vehicle Service Advisor required in the South Gloucestershire region.
  • Starting salary up to £35,000 per annum pending experience plus £5-a-day lunch allowance.
  • Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:30pm.
  • Opportunity to work with a five-star awarded independent German vehicle specialist operating since 2017. 
A not-to-miss opportunity has become available for a Vehicle Service Advisor to join our client's independent automotive service centre in the South Gloucestershire region.  

As a Vehicle Service Advisor, you will work alongside a Service Reception Manager and a workshop team. You shall be responsible for providing a proactive service to customers requesting to schedule their vehicles for service, maintenance or repair work. You will greet customers in the Service Department, extensively liaise with the workshop to chase work in progress, keep customers informed of progress, source and supply parts for the workshop team, and carry out, where possible, upselling of additional products and services.  

To be eligible, you will ideally live within a reasonable commuting distance of the South Gloucester region (the business is easily commutable from either Gloucester, North Bristol, Stroud or Cirencester) and will be able to deliver the very highest level of customer service through strong communication skills, resulting in total customer satisfaction. Very strong organisational skills, along with IT literacy, would be of high priority. Recent or current experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor within a similar business is required at this stage. Our client is looking for a Service Advisor who is skilled at upselling amber work to their customers, so having a proven track record with this is highly desired.
