  • Monday to Friday 8.00am to 6.00pm | 20 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
  • Location: Sudbury, Suffolk.
Our motor trade client is currently seeking a hands-on Bodyshop Manager to lead a small team and help grow a well-established, insurance-focused Bodyshop operation.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced individual who’s looking to step into a slightly slower-paced environment with a long-term view to expansion. The Bodyshop currently operates with a dedicated team of three – a Panel Beater, a Prepper, and a Paint Sprayer – and requires a leader to oversee daily operations while also managing front-of-house duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a small team of technicians ensuring high-quality repair work.
  • Handle customer service at the front desk, providing updates and advice.
  • Prepare and issue invoices and manage associated admin tasks.
  • Liaise with insurers and suppliers.
  • Help shape the future direction and gradual growth of the Bodyshop over the next 18–24 months.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience managing or supervising in a bodyshop environment.
  • Confident in customer-facing situations and handling administration.
  • Organised, calm under pressure, and able to lead a small team effectively.
  • Motivated by the opportunity to take ownership of a business and guide its development.
Details & Benefits:
  • £45,000 basic salary per annum.
  • Monday to Friday working only – no weekends.
  • 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
