Responsibility and Duties of a Payroll Administrator:
- Payroll Processing
- Accurate processing of a end to end monthly payroll of circa 1,200 colleagues
- Review, manage and resolve payroll queries including the calculation and raising of manual payments where required and ensuring they are all accurately recorded
- Good understanding of statutory payments including Maternity, Paternity & Shared Parental leave
- Experience of full end to end payroll preferred
- Previous experience working as part of a payroll team is essential
- Must have exceptional communication skills
- Must be competent in performing manual payroll calculations
- Ability to meet strict deadlines while maintaining composure
- Experience of operating a modern payroll software package such as PeopleXD (Access), Success Factors (SAP), Oracle, Dayforce (Ceridian) or Workday
- Candidate must be experienced in Excel, knowledge of VLOOKUP’s is also required
- CIPP qualified is desirable but not essential
