Our client based in Farnborough, is a successful, family-run Accident Repair Group with a strong reputation for quality and customer service. Due to ongoing expansion and increased demand, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Mechanic / Technician to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a professional and friendly environment with a skilled team of 9 productive staff including Panel Beaters, Paint Sprayers, Vehicle Mechanics, and Stripper Fitters.

What’s in it for you as a Vehicle Technician?
  • Up to £40,000 basic salary depending on experience
  • Monday to Friday, 7.30am – 4.30pm
  • Optional Saturday overtime at standard rate

Vehicle Technician Duties:
  • Gearbox and gearbox mount repairs
  • Timing belt and chain replacements
  • Brake and clutch repairs
  • Handbrake cable replacements
  • Mechanical fault diagnostics (using tools and hands-on inspection)
  • Working on both insurance and retail vehicles, including commercial and motorhomes
What our client expects of their Vehicle Technician:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
  • Confident working independently on a wide range of mechanical issues
  • Ability to diagnose faults without sole reliance on diagnostics tools
  • Experience with timing belts/chains, clutches, gearboxes, etc.
  • Team player who takes pride in their work
  • Full UK Driving Licence
