Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
- Diagnose faults and identify repair requirements on Vauxhall vehicles and vans.
- Perform servicing and maintenance in strict accordance with Vauxhall manufacturer guidelines.
- Repair and replace faulty components, such as injectors, seals, and other critical parts.
- Ensure all vehicles are roadworthy and meet Vauxhall’s safety and performance standards.
- Provide accurate time estimates for jobs and produce detailed service reports.
- Collaborate effectively under the guidance of the Workshop Manager.
- Vauxhall manufacturer-specific training or qualifications (essential).
- NVQ Level 3 Qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent time-served experience).
- A full UK driving licence.
- An MOT Tester licence is advantageous but not essential.
- Proven experience working on Vauxhall vehicles, with strong diagnostic skills.
- Self-sufficiency, with the ability to complete most mechanical jobs with minimal supervision.
- A proactive approach and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
