Our client, a large accident repair company, are looking for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor to join their team in Sunderland. As it's at a large company this role comes with excellent job security and opportunities for promotion and progression.

The successful Vehicle Damage Assessor will get
  • Basic Salary Dependent on Experience from c.£30,000
  • OTE: £45,000

  • IMI (ATA) Accreditation Training and Support
Responsibilities of the successful Vehicle Damage Assessor
  • Undertake the inspection of damaged vehicles
  • Assess the full amount of damage, estimate costs of repair and timeframes
  • Liaise effectively with insurance companies and customers
  • Produce work that complies with the highest technical and quality standards

The ideal Vehicle Damage Assessor candidate
  • Experience of working as a VDA in a bodyshop
  • Carry out computerised estimates using Audatex
  • Communicate with customers to provide repair information and an indication of completion time
  • Compile all relevant information and complete supporting documentation
  • Record all estimate / repair information on the Advance system
  • Monitor progress of the vehicle through the repair process
  • Audatex qualification desirable
  • Takes pride in providing a great customer experience
  • Full UK driving licence
