Are you an experienced Service Manager and looking for a new challenge? Want to sink your teeth into something new? 

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Service Manager to control the day to day function of a Independent Prestige Specialist workshop based in Harpenden.  As a proactive member of the businesses management team you will be required to run an efficient operation of the workshop, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times. Motivating and training all staff to perform, developing and improving processes and systems as well as driving the business forward. Your overall objective will be to increase turnover and profits to exceed set budgets.

Our Client is offering the successful Service Manager:
  • Up To £45,000 Salary Depending On Experience

  • Independent Prestige Vehicle Specialist Environment
  • Based On The Front Desk Dealing With Customers & Managing A Team Of Technicians In Workshop
  • Main Dealer / Independent Specialist / Garage Environments All Considered
Other responsibilities of the Service Manager include:
  • Based on the front desk dealing with the customers as well as managing the workshop
  • Manage all Service Department procedures with the aid of Workshop Controller
  • Optimally utilising the market to produce a high level of customer satisfaction and high yields for the department
  • Managing, coaching and developing your team
  • Planning and controlling your workforce resource availability to meet your customer’s fleet demands
  • Compliance management and planning, VOR performance to meet customer obligations, MOT FTPR performance to a minimum acceptance level
To qualify for this position, you must have a proven track record in the management of Service Management within a Motortrade Vehicle environment!
