- Working Hours: 42 hours per week
- Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 6:00pm
- Saturday (rota): 8:00am – 1:00pm
- Salary: £32,000 OTE (Basic £26,000 – £28,000 + £6,000 Uncapped Bonus)
You’ll be the first point of contact for customers booking MOTs, services, and repairs. You’ll use your expertise to guide customers through the service process and ensure their experience is seamless, informed, and professional. Key Responsibilities for a Service Advisor
- Act as the main liaison between the customer and workshop team
- Book vehicle servicing, MOTs, and repairs via phone, email and in person
- Provide accurate technical advice and support around warranty cover and service packages
- Upsell additional services, parts, and accessories that would benefit the customer
- Liaise with technicians and workshop staff to schedule jobs based on capacity
- Keep customers informed about repair timelines and any changes to their booking
- Manage a high volume of customer interactions daily across various channels
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in internal systems
- Handle follow-up calls and ensure post-service satisfaction
- Work collaboratively within the Aftersales team to meet targets and deliver a first-class customer experience
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor or similar customer-facing automotive role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and simply to customers
- Strong organisation and time management abilities
- Confident in handling a fast-paced and varied workload
- A team player with the ability to work independently
- Knowledge of Kerridge / ADP systems is advantageous
- Passion for customer service and a genuine interest in the motor industry
