Paint / Prep Technician Needed in Warwickshire
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Salary: Negotiable – Dependent on Experience and Skill Level

A leading automotive company is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Paint / Prep Technician to join their professional team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a well-equipped facility with a passionate, close-knit team.

As a Paint / Prep Technician, you will play a key role in vehicle refinishing and bodywork preparation, ensuring every vehicle is finished to the highest standard. You’ll be responsible for prepping panels, masking, priming, and applying paint with precision – delivering showroom-level results every time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepping and priming panels and vehicles for paint
  • Masking vehicles to ensure accuracy and cleanliness of paint application
  • Applying primer and base/clear coat paints using spray guns and booth facilities
  • Sanding and flatting panels for final finish
  • Conducting quality checks to ensure work meets high standards before final handover
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Working independently and efficiently while also contributing to a team environment
Key Requirements:
  • Previous experience in paint and prep work within automotive or similar industries
  • Ability to work unsupervised with strong attention to detail
  • Responsible, reliable, and self-motivated
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to contribute positively to a team
  • A passion for vehicle appearance and finishing quality
