Workshop Controller / Branch Manager – Nottingham
  • Basic Salary: £37,500
  • OTE: Up to £48,000
  • Monday – Friday: 08:30 – 17:30
  • Alternate Saturdays: 08:30 – 13:00
  • No Sundays or Bank Holidays
We’re recruiting on behalf of a long-established, family-run autocentre in Nottingham for a Workshop Manager. This is a great opportunity for someone with automotive workshop experience who’s ready to lead a team, manage daily operations, and deliver excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities in this Workshop Manager role:
  • Manage daily workshop operations and technician workloads
  • Lead and support workshop and front-of-house teams
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and job quality
  • Order and manage parts efficiently
  • Handle customer queries and authorise repair work
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
  • Support recruitment, training, and team development
  • Stay current with industry updates and internal policies
The Ideal Workshop Manager will be:
  • Previous experience in an automotive workshop, ideally in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Strong customer service mindset
  • Comfortable managing both technical and administrative tasks
  • Knowledge of workshop health and safety standards
  • UK work authorisation
