If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Branch Supervisor to join our well-established light commercial business in Ipswich.

About the Role: As Branch Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring a high standard of presentation, customer service, and sales performance. Working closely with the Sales Manager, you will drive team productivity, uphold safety and operational standards, and maintain the availability and presentation of trailers, parts, and associated products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the overall branch presentation and performance in conjunction with the Sales Manager.
  • Actively promote and sell Indespension products and associated services professionally both on-site and over the phone.
  • Lead, manage, and motivate the branch team to deliver outstanding service and performance.
  • Ensure sales targets are met and company procedures are followed effectively.
  • Keep the Sales Manager updated on branch operations and team performance.
  • Maintain appropriate stock levels and ensure stock is presented cleanly, safely, and accurately labelled.
  • Oversee branch security and ensure proper stock handling upon delivery.
  • Support the training and development of new staff and report progress and training needs.
  • Conduct regular and accurate stock-takes with full team involvement.
  • Be a key holder for the branch and respond to alarm callouts when required.
  • Operate a Forklift Truck (training provided if required) for stock handling.
  • Represent and promote the company’s corporate image and branding.
  • Ensure full compliance with the company’s Health & Safety policies.
  • Carry out additional duties as reasonably requested.
Requirements:
  • Proven supervisory or management experience within a commercial or retail environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and motivational skills.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence – towing experience is essential.
  • Confident with customer interaction and sales processes.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage team allocation efficiently.
  • Attention to detail and pride in presentation standards.
  • ???????Willingness to undergo Forklift Truck training (if not already certified).
