Van / HGV Technician needed in Newcastle (Car Technicians Welcome): Nights Package
  • Basic Salary up to £48,877.
  • Optional Overtime Available.
  • Working Hours: 8pm - 7am Tuesday to Friday - Weekends Off!

  • Our client is seeking both experienced HGV Technicians and applicants with experience as a Van Technician.
  • Opportunity for candidates with some experience acting as a Van Technician to upskill and train on HGV's.

Our client, a renowned commercial vehicle business , is seeking a Van/HGV Technician to join their team in a Night Time role in Newcastle.

Our client is encouraging applicants with HGV Technician experience and those with Van experience to apply.

What will the successful Van/HGV Technician do?
  • Inspect and repair vehicles to DVSA standards including MOT preparation and presentation to test.
  • Fault diagnosis including the use of specialist market leading diagnostic equipment.
  • General mechanical and electrical repairs.
  • Opportunity to do offsite working, including breakdown attendance.
  • Display excellent customer service and a dedication to keeping our customer’s vehicles on the road.
The successful Van/HGV Technician will have:
  • Either a Level 2 or Level 3 vehicle maintenance qualification.
  • Experience acting as a Van or HGV Technician.
  • MOT License desirable.
  • The ability to work to a high standard.
  • The ability to work well in a team.
  • A can do attitude & a desire to develop their knowledge and skills.
  • An awareness of the importance of Health and Safety compliance.
  • Own set of tools.
  • Full UK Drivers License.
The successful Van/HGV Technician will get:
  • Basic Salary of up to £48,877.
