Vehicle Technician Required for Independent Garage
  • Location: North London
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 1 in 2 Saturday Morning’s
  • Salary: £35,000+ (Negotiable, depending on experience).
Our client, a well-established independent garage, is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their friendly and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities for the Vehicle Technician:
  • Perform high-quality maintenance and repairs
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicle components for wear and damage
  • Diagnose technical issues and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Deliver excellent customer service and technical advice when required
  • Liaise effectively with the service team to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow
  • Support and mentor junior team members as needed
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards and company procedures
Requirements for the Vehicle Technician:
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or my client would also consider a time served Technician.
  • Strong technical and diagnostic skills with great attention to detail
  • A team player with the ability to meet efficiency targets
  • A valid UK driving licence is essential
  • MOT licence is beneficial but not essential
