Panel Beater Needed in Sunderland
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am – 4.30pm (45-hour contract) – No weekends
  • Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 Basic + performance-related bonus
I am currently recruiting for a skilled Panel Beater to join a well-established and growing Accident Repair Centre. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive, team-driven environment that offers great benefits, career progression, and a real commitment to employee wellbeing.

As a Panel Beater, you will play a crucial role in restoring vehicles (HGVs, vans, and cars) to their pre-accident condition. Your experience in panel beating, along with welding and general bodywork, will contribute to achieving site targets and maintaining exceptional quality standards.

Key Responsibilities for a Panel Beater:
  • Undertake high-quality panel repairs across a range of vehicle types
  • Assess damage and determine the most effective repair methods using specialist tools and equipment
  • Comply with standards and manufacturer repair specifications
  • Carry out welding and light fabrication work as required
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve productivity and quality targets
What We’re Looking For in a Panel Beater:
  • Proven experience as a Panel Beater or Multiskilled Technician within accident repair
  • Good knowledge of body repair tools, equipment, and techniques
  • Welding experience is preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality
  • ATA/NVQ qualifications are desirable – support is available to obtain or renew certifications
