Workshop Controller Required for Dealer In Carlisle 
  • Basic salary up to £35,000
  • OTE up to £40,000
  • Monday - Friday hours 08:00-17:30
  • NO WEEKENDS

Our client is a main dealer who is looking for an experienced Workshop Controller to join its team in Carlisle. You will lead the workshop team in this Monday-Friday only position and will assist the service manager to keep the workshop running smoothly.

Duties of a Workshop Controller with our Client:
  • To handle customer enquiries and queries promptly and efficiently
  • Qualify service needs and diagnose vehicle running problems where appropriate
  • Establish understanding and an agreement with the customer of the work to be carried out
  • Explain the work carried out on vehicle ensuring customers full understanding and authorisation
  • Understand and adhere to manufacturer service requirements
  • Maintain relevant systems ensuring accuracy at all times
  • Act as liaison between the front desk and the workshop
