Master Technician Required – Manchester
  • Working Hours: Monday – Friday + 1-in-4 Saturday mornings (rota)
  • Salary: £36,000 – £44,000 per annum (DOE) + uncapped bonus
We are currently recruiting an experienced and qualified Master Technician to join a well-established dealership in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior-level Technician looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities for a Master Technician:
  • Carry out advanced diagnostics, fault finding, and complex mechanical and electrical repairs
  • Support and mentor other Technicians within the workshop
  • Maintain high first-time fix rates and workshop efficiencies
  • Work closely with the Service team to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Keep up to date with manufacturer systems, training, and procedures
  • Conduct MOT testing (if certified)
What We’re Looking For in a Master Technician:
  • Level 3 (or higher) City & Guilds / NVQ in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Proven experience in a Master Technician or Diagnostic Technician role
  • Main dealer experience preferred
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Own tools required
  • MOT Tester qualification (advantageous)
