We are recruiting for a highly motivated and experienced General Sales Manager to lead a dynamic Sales team in a thriving main dealership operation. This role is ideal for a results-driven individual with a proven track record in sales leadership, customer service, and team development.
Our Client is offering the successful General Sales Manager:
- Up To £45,000 Basic Salary + Bonus
- £65,000 OTE
- Monday To Friday 8.30am - 6pm / Saturdays 9am -5 pm / Sundays 10am - 4pm (1 in 3)

Key Responsibilities for the General Sales Manager:
- Translate overall sales goals into team and personal KPIs, monitor progress and take corrective action where needed.
- Plan and execute targeted promotions and campaigns in collaboration with senior management.
- Deliver clear performance visibility through daily achievement tracking and team incentives.
- Ensure expert product and market knowledge is shared throughout the team.
- Provide regular 1:1 coaching, performance reviews and development support for team members.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding and training of new sales team staff.
- Report on sales activity and results during weekly management meetings.
- Uphold and promote the company's values and customer-centric approach.
Requirements for the General Sales Manager:
- Previous management or team leadership experience in a sales or customer service environment.
- Strong track record of achieving KPIs and driving commercial performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport both internally and externally.
- Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
- Comfortable using sales reporting tools and Microsoft Office packages.
- A hands-on, motivational leader with a passion for the automotive industry.
