HGV Technician Needed, in Merseyside
  • Location: Liverpool and Surrounding Areas
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am – 2pm (flexibility required for occasional weekends)
  • Salary: OTE £42,000+ per annum, plus performance incentives
Our client; a well-established Commercial Main Dealership, is seeking a skilled Mobile HGV Technician to join their team, supporting a key customer at a fully equipped, high-spec Vehicle Maintenance facility. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a technically rewarding role, in a customer-facing environment, while working for a company that values its staff and provides excellent rewards and ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities of the Mobile HGV Technician:
  • Service, maintain, and repair heavy goods vehicles
  • Conduct routine inspections in line with O Licence requirements
  • Carry out surgery and preventative maintenance work
  • Perform diagnostics and fault-finding
  • Ensure fleet vehicles meet compliance and safety standards
  • Work independently and off-site at customer VMU location
  • Communicate effectively with both customer and internal teams
  • Maintain accurate records of work carried out
What Our Client is Looking For?
  • Solid background as an HGV Technician (mobile experience beneficial)
  • Level 3 qualification in HGV Maintenance & Repair (NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent)
  • Full UK Driving Licence (Class 1 licence preferred)
  • Strong diagnostic skills and a proactive approach
  • Flexible and customer-focused mindset
