Panel Technician – Accident Repair Centre in the Luton Area

  • Basic salary up to £45,000 (Based on Experience & Qualifications)
  • OTE £52,000+ through bonus
  • Location: Luton Area
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (Full-Time, 30-minute lunch)

A well-established and professionally run accident repair centre in the Luton area is looking to recruit an experienced Panel Technician to join their busy team. This is a great opportunity for a time-served and skilled technician who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality repairs.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Complete structural and cosmetic panel repairs or replacements across a range of makes and models
  • Use jigs, welding equipment, and tools in accordance with safety standards and training
  • Follow manufacturer repair methods and safety guidelines
  • Strip and refit components where necessary to carry out repairs
  • Work independently to a high standard, or assist and support less experienced technicians
  • Keep work area clean, tidy, and organised, maintaining equipment as needed
  • Communicate effectively with workshop control and other departments

What we're looking for:
  • 3+ years’ experience in panel repair (essential)
  • ATA accreditation preferred but not essential for experienced, fully qualified candidates
  • Confident in bonding, welding, and use of body jigs
  • Excellent eye for detail and quality
  • Team player who can also work independently
  • Awareness of Health & Safety in a bodyshop environment
  • Positive, professional attitude with strong work ethic
