Duties of a Vehicle Technician with our Client:
- Carrying out vehicle services and repairs in accordance with brand technical standards.
- Working in accordance with brand and dealership processes.
- Liaising directly with customers where appropriate.
- Providing support to less experienced colleagues.
- Attending regular training to update technical skills.
- Ensuring that the immediate working environment is kept clean and devoid of any working practice which may be hazardous to either themselves or others.
- Managing customer complaints and ensure timely resolutions.
What our client expects of their Vehicle Technician:
- Relevant City & Guilds, BTEC or NVQ 2 or 3 accreditation
- Previous work experience in a workshop
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Able to plan, organise self and meet agreed work deadlines.
- Strong diagnostic skills are beneficial.
- Experience working on a variety of makes and models of vehicles is desirable.
- Ability to work well in a team and under pressure.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Full UK Driving Licence. – Preferably Clean
