New/Used Commercial Vehicle Sales Executive required in the Swindon and surrounding region. 
  • Uncapped annual earning potential!
  • Working hours from 8:30am-5:30pm Monday to Friday. No weekends required! 
  • Opportunity to work with a family-run business operating for over 34 years, employing over 100 members of staff. 

Due to business expansion, our client, a multi-franchise approved commercial vehicle dealer group with several centres across South and Southwest England, is currently looking to recruit an experienced and professional New/Used Commercial Vehicle Sales Executive to cover the Swindon and surrounding region.

Reporting to the Commercial Director and working as part of a friendly sales and support team, you will be required to sell both new/used heavy goods and light commercial vehicles alongside add-ons, services, and finance/insurance related products in your allocated territory to achieve and exceed your annual sales plan and ensuring the highest level of customer service. You will actively prospect for additional customers as well as maintain relationships with existing customers, all the while maintaining your CRM, providing regular updates to data. You will also meet with key internal contacts for regular business review meetings to formulate territory plans and exchange relevant information, as well as, on odd occasions, attending and supporting customer events, which may include events outside of normal working hours, to maximise any opportunities which could lead to profitable growth. 

To be eligible for this role, you will need to have relevant experience in commercial vehicle sales with a good overall understanding of the commercial vehicle sales industry, including products available, market trends, and general news. You will be IT literate and can manage and work effectively with a CRM database and Microsoft Office software, and have a UK driving licence with minimal points (a HGV driving licence is highly advantageous but not essential). Overall, you will have strong customer relations skills with a proven track record in selling and negotiation, have a proactive approach to your workload to exceed targets/KPI's, and be methodical and organised, given that you will often be working independently.
