Service Technician Needed in Kilmarnock
  • Basic Salary up to £31,000 DOE
  • OTE available with bonus
  • Full Time, Permanent
We are currently looking for an experienced Service Technician to join a busy and expanding workshop in the Kilmarnock area. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who wants to be part of a forward-thinking team while continuing to develop their skills with ongoing training and career progression.

What’s Required for the Service Technician role:
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Previous workshop experience in servicing and repairs
  • Skilled in carrying out work such as clutches, brakes, exhausts, timing belts, and suspension repairs
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a busy team and independently
Key Responsibilities for the Service Technician:
  • Carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs to a high standard
  • Completing diagnostic checks and identifying additional faults
  • Tyre fitting and wheel alignment adjustments when required
  • Maintaining accurate job cards and paperwork in line with workshop processes
  • Working in accordance with Health & Safety regulations and company policies
  • Delivering excellent customer service by ensuring vehicles are repaired right the first time
