Vehicle Technician Vacancy - Northamptonshire Main Dealer:
  • Location: Northamptonshire (commutable from Northampton, Kettering & Market Harborough)
  • Basic Salary: Circa £38,000 (DOE)- £40,000 (OTE)
  • Departmental Bonus Scheme
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm
  • No Weekends
  • Bosche Service Centre 
Our client is a well-established, family-run business with multiple sites across Northamptonshire. Renowned for their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, they are now looking to expand their team by hiring an experienced Vehicle Technician.

As a Vehicle Technician, you will be an integral part of a dedicated team, ensuring that all vehicles are maintained and repaired to the highest standards. Your expertise will help uphold the reputation of the Bosch Service Centre, known for its excellence in automotive service and repair.

Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicle makes and models.
  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostics to identify and rectify vehicle issues.
  • Carry out repairs and replacements of vehicle components, including brakes, suspension, and transmission systems.
  • Ensure all work is completed to Bosch Service Centre standards and manufacturer specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
  Requirements needed for the Vehicle Techncian Role:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a workshop environment.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform a wide range of repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Familiarity with modern diagnostic equipment and tools.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification is preferred.
