  • Starting salary fully negotiable pending experience. Our client is willing to pay what is fair for the right people! 
  • 45-hour week from 7:30am-4:00pm Monday to Friday.
Our client, a leading independent automotive accident repair centre located in Abingdon, is currently looking to recruit a Vehicle Panel Beater to join their business. 

Working as part of a team and reporting to the Centre Manager, this role offers you the opportunity to use your technical expertise and attention to detail to produce high-quality results.

Your daily responsibilities as a Vehicle Panel Beater will include:
  • Undertake replacement and repair of damaged or compromised vehicle bodywork panels.
  • Complete chassis and framework repairs.
  • Accurately assess vehicle damage and apply appropriate methods to produce a high-quality repair.
  • Conduct bumper and door repair works as required.
  • Ensure all panel beating/repair works meet internal and third-party quality standards.
  • Work as part of a team to ensure bodyshop operations run efficiently and safely.
In order to be eligible, you will need to have current or recent experience working as a Vehicle Panel Beater. Formal qualifications to IMI/NVQ Level 3 as a Vehicle Damage Panel Technician or similar would be essential. Overall, you will have a good eye for detail, be a team player with good communication skills, have an aptitude for multitasking, and have a UK driving license with minimal points. Candidates with an ATA accreditation or experience working to BSI 10125 Kitemark standards would be highly beneficial, but it is non-essential.
