Location: Preston, Lancashire
Hours: Full-time, approx. 40-45 hours per week; typically Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend or evening work for customer events or targets.
Salary & Benefits for this Commercial Sales Manager role:
- Basic salary in the region of £40,000 – £60,000 (depending on experience, brand, and dealer size
- Uncapped commission / bonus structure could push total earnings (OTE) to £70,000 – £90,000+.
- Additional benefits may include company car or car allowance, pension scheme, manufacturer training, and performance incentives.
- Lead and manage the commercial sales team across trucks and vans, ensuring performance and profitability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with fleet customers, local businesses, and manufacturers.
- Develop and implement sales strategies, forecasting, and growth plans.
- Drive new, used, and fleet sales, ensuring compliance with FCA regulations and brand standards.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to maintain a strong market position.
- Oversee vehicle preparation, documentation, warranties, and customer handovers.
- Experienced Commercial Sales Manager within the truck and van sector.
- Proven track record of delivering strong sales results and team leadership.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to analyse and act on performance data.
- A Full UK Driving Licence
