HGV Technician required in Trafford Park
  • Location: Trafford Park
  • Working Hours: 4 on 4 off day shift, 6am–6pm
  • Salary: Up to £44,500 per annum
We’re recruiting on behalf of one of the UK’s leading commercial vehicle specialists, now looking for a skilled HGV Technician to strengthen their team at their Trafford Park site.

Key Responsibilities for the HGV Technician:
  • Carry out maintenance and repair activities on a variety of commercial vehicles and trailers
  • Diagnose faults, conduct tests, and perform permanent, complete repairs
  • Complete all documentation and procedures related to warranty, contract, and retail work
  • Undertake preventative maintenance to reduce customer costs and vehicle downtime
  • Support colleagues and complete other tasks as directed by the Shift Supervisor
What We’re Looking For in a HGV Technician:
  • NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
  • Proven experience diagnosing, servicing, and repairing commercial vehicles
  • Up-to-date manufacturer training and strong technical knowledge
  • Methodical and organised approach with excellent attention to detail
  • Full UK driving licence (HGV licence preferred but not essential)
