  • Monday to Thursday 8:00AM – 5PM / Fridays 8am - 4.30PM

We are currently seeking a Fully Qualified Vehicle Technician for a well-established Multi-Franchise Main Dealership on the outskirts of Reading, Berkshire.

Our Client, a reputable dealership representing multiple automotive brands, is looking to add a dedicated Technician to their team of highly skilled professionals. This role offers a great opportunity to work in a busy, friendly environment with excellent career development prospects.

The Successful Vehicle Technician will receive:
  • Up to £32,000 basic salary plus bonus, with an OTE of approximately £38,000
  • Monday to Thursday 8:00AM – 5PM / Fridays 8am - 4.30PM
  • Rotating Saturday mornings (1 in 2) 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Modern, multi-franchise dealership environment
  • On-site parking facilities
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Ongoing manufacturer training and development programs
Key Responsibilities of the Vehicle Technician include:
  • Conducting comprehensive vehicle service checks
  • Performing repairs and diagnostic assessments
  • Carrying out general servicing and maintenance tasks
  • Maintaining a high standard of work quality and professionalism
  • Supporting continuous workshop organization and tool care
  • Ensuring exceptional customer service through accurate communication and workmanship
Candidate Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds qualifications in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Full UK driving license
  • Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician within a franchised dealership
  • MOT testing certification is advantageous (training can be provided to the right candidate)
  • Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and team spirit
  • Motivated for ongoing learning and skills enhancement
