Performance/Classic Vehicle Technician required in Llandow. 
  • Starting salary between £35-45,000 per annum, pending experience and current earnings.
  • 8:00am-4:30pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch. 12 weekend events (1 Weekday and 2 Weekend Days) per year are contracted with expenses paid.

Our client, the UK's leading and fastest-growing supercar, movie car and classic car driving experience company, is currently looking to recruit a Vehicle Technician to join their workshop situated in Llandow.
 
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will be working as part of a small and friendly workshop team and carrying out diagnosis, repairs, maintenance and servicing to the highest standards and to the appropriate specification on our client's diverse fleet of vehicles, which range from the classic Ford Gran Torino to the modern McLaren 720s.

Additional responsibilities shall include: 
  • Ensure all vehicles worked upon are handled carefully and that all precautions are taken whilst on the premises.
  • Ensure that workshop housekeeping standards are maintained at all times, including the use of special and personal tools.
  • Liaise with partners and suppliers to attain suitable parts at reasonable prices and, especially, delivered on time.
  • Ensure Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices are adhered to.
  • Work with/support workshop colleagues and line managers to ensure everything is done on time.
  • Assist with car loading and unloading during event periods.
To be eligible, an IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair would be mandatory alongside several years of practical experience as a Vehicle Technician working on a diverse variety of vehicles. Any experience working on performance or classic vehicles would be highly advantageous; however, this is non-essential. You will, however, need to hold a UK driving licence with minimal points, have your own tools, and be a committed individual and a good team player. You must be able to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced and demanding workshop environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for your team. Given our client frequently does race weekends for their customers, you will also need to have a flexible approach to assisting with these on occasions; however, you would be paid overtime for this.
