Vehicle Service Advisor required in Gloucester:
  • SALARY: Between £30-32,000 per annum with a £2-4,000 annual bonus potential.
  • HOURS: 8:00am-5:00pm Mon to Fri with Sat on a rota 8:30am-10:00am.
Our client, an independent fleet repair specialist in the Gloucester region, is looking to hire a Service Advisor to join their busy workshop.

Reporting to the Garage Manager and working alongside another Service Advisor, this position will take day-to-day responsibility for delighting our clients' customers and providing a high level of advice, support and service.

This is a high-paced job, full of variety and with lots of customer interaction. You'll be responsible being the link between our client's busy Vehicle Technicians and their customers. 

Other Main Duties of this Service Advisor role include:
  • Meet and greet our customers, and check in their vehicles into the workshop
  • Providing advice, support and quotes to customers and providing them with a great customer experience over the phone and in person.
  • Provide technical updates on repairs to customers and be the link between our clients' Vehicle Technicians and their customers.
  • Printing and preparing the next day's jobs and ordering of parts.
  • Generate customer repair quotes, invoices and completed job packs for invoicing.
  • Providing general vehicle and administration support to the Garage Manager and the workshop team.
Do you need previous Vehicle Service Advisor experience? In short, no!

The successful Service Advisor would ideally be able to deliver the very highest level of customer service through strong communication skills, resulting in total customer satisfaction. Strong organisational skills, along with IT literacy, would be of high priority. Recent or current experience as a Service Advisor would be highly advantageous; however, our client is very open to considering personnel who haven't worked as a Service Advisor before but have a strong transferable experience from another customer service role in the motor trade. A UK driving licence is also essential.
