Our client a trusted family-run dealership with a strong reputation in Crayford, is seeking a skilled Commercial Vehicle Technician to join their workshop Commercial Vehicle Technician team. What You’ll Do:
  • Conduct technical diagnostics, inspections, repairs, and servicing on commercial vehicles to ensure the highest quality standards.
  • Meet and exceed productivity targets while delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Uphold manufacturer and company quality standards, ensuring full compliance with health and safety protocols.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge through manufacturer training and continuous self-development.
  • Support vehicle health check processes with precision and attention to detail.
Required Skills:
  • Relevant formal qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in vehicle technology).
  • Experience in inspection, repair, and servicing of commercial vehicles.
  • Full UK driver’s licence.
  • Strong diagnostic and technical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice to Have Skills:
  • MOT Tester qualification (training can be provided).
  • Previous experience working in a franchised dealership.
  • Knowledge of commercial vehicle systems and diagnostic tools.
Preferred Education & Experience:
  • City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle or Commercial Vehicle Maintenance.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a busy dealership environment.
Other Requirements:
  • Full UK driver’s licence.
  • Willingness to undertake manufacturer-specific training.
  • Commitment to delivering high standards of work and customer service.

  • Guaranteed minimum earnings of £40,000 per annum for the first three months.
  • Earning potential: £42,000 – £58,000 annually based on performance.
  • Basic salary: £33,900.00
