We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a dedicated Mobile Smart Repairer / Paint Technician to join their team based around Guildford, Surrey. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled technicians looking to work in a dynamic environment where your expertise directly impacts customer satisfaction!

Our client is seeking coverage for the entire GU postcode area / Surrey area up and down the A3 road.

As a Mobile Smart Repairer / Paint Technician, your main duties will involve:
  • Performing high-quality SMART repairs on vehicles directly at customer locations
  • Fixing scuffs, scratches, dents, and paint damage using specialised techniques and equipment
  • Assessing damage and advising customers on repair options
  • Managing your schedule efficiently to complete repairs within designated timeframes
  • Maintaining equipment and adhering to health and safety standards
  • Keeping accurate records of repairs and parts used
  • Ensuring all work complies with industry quality and safety standards
The ideal candidate for the Mobile Smart Repairer / Paint Technician role will possess:
  • Proven experience as a Smart Repairer, Paint Sprayer, or equivalent role
  • Strong knowledge of paint repair techniques, filler repairs, and bodywork methods
  • Hands-on experience with water-based paints and 2K clearcoats
  • Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
  • Good time management skills and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication skills to interact confidently with customers
  • Full UK driving licence with willingness to travel
  • Relevant qualifications in automotive repairs, paint spraying, or SMART repairs
  • Practical industry experience of at least 2 years is highly desirable
