Reporting to the Centre Manager and working as part of a team, your key responsibilities will include:
- Undertake removal, replacement, and repair of damaged or compromised vehicle bodywork panels as well as mechanical and electrical components.
- Ensuring displaced vehicle parts are stored correctly and safely for refitting.
- Complete chassis and framework repairs.
- Accurately assess vehicle damage and apply appropriate methods to produce a high-quality repair.
- Conduct bumper and door repair works as required.
- Ensure all work carried out meets internal and third-party quality standards.
- Refit the vehicle, taking care and attention not to damage freshly painted panels and ensuring panel gaps are true and within the manufacturer's tolerances.
- Work as part of a team to ensure centre operations run efficiently and safely.
- Ensures the maintenance of tools, equipment, and other materials.
- Performs other ad-hoc duties as and when required.
