MET TECHNICIAN – DERBYSHIRE

A leading national accident repair centre is looking for a skilled MET Technician to join their highly respected team. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical, electrical, and trim expertise who takes pride in high-quality repair work and delivering first-class results.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Carrying out Mechanical, Electrical, and Trim repairs to manufacturer standards
  • Stripping and refitting components as part of the accident repair process
  • Diagnosing faults and ensuring accurate, high-quality repairs
  • Working closely with bodyshop and paint teams
  • Maintaining workshop equipment and following all safety procedures
  • Completing documentation and job cards accurately
What we’re looking for:
  • Experienced MET Technician with a proven background in accident repair
  • Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
  • ATA MET or equivalent certification desirable
  • Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards
  • Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach
  • Full UK driving licence
