Diagnostic Vehicle Technician Needed in Bury
  • Location: Bury, Greater Manchester
  • Working Hours: Monday–Friday 08:30–17:30 + alternate weekend day (42 hours, overtime available)
  • Salary: Up to £43,000 per year + bonus scheme
We’re recruiting on behalf of one of the UK’s leading used car retailers, now looking for a skilled Motor Vehicle Technician to strengthen their team.

Key Responsibilities for a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:
  • Diagnose faults using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
  • Carry out servicing, repairs, and mechanical work from routine maintenance to complex repairs
  • Identify required parts and report findings accurately
  • Complete road tests and ensure all work meets “right first time” standards
  • Mentor junior technicians to support team development
What We’re Looking For in a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:
  • Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent experience
  • Strong background in mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic work
  • Ability to use a wide range of tools and workshop equipment
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Full UK driving licence
