Commercial Vehicle Technician Required in Glasgow

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join a reputable Light Commercial Vehicle Centre in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for automotive professionals at all levels to work within a dedicated team focused on servicing and repairing light commercial vehicles. Duties of the Vehicle Technician / Mechanic position:
  • Perform vehicle health checks and diagnostic assessments on light commercial vehicles
  • Carry out routine servicing in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and customer requests
  • Complete repairs, including diagnostics, replacement of parts, and light mechanical work
  • Conduct road tests to verify repairs and ensure vehicle safety and performance
  • Accurately complete all necessary repair documentation and warranty claims
  • Uphold high standards of work quality and customer care at all times
Candidate requirements for this Vehicle Technician / Mechanic role:
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in light vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Previous experience working with light commercial vehicles is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Self-motivated and eager to develop your skills within a busy workshop environment
  • Attention to detail with a focus on delivering quality workmanship
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
