As the Commercial Vehicle Technician, your responsibilities will include:
  • Servicing and repairing light commercial vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes and LCVs.
  • Diagnosing vehicle faults accurately and efficiently
  • Carrying out inspections and ensuring compliance with safety standards
  • Maintaining detailed service and repair records
  • Advising customers on repairs needed and scheduling work effectively
Requirements of the Commercial Vehicle Technician role include:
  • Proven experience working on LCV vehicles is essential
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification in vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a busy team
  • Valid driving licence and MOT license preferred but not essential
  • Knowledge of manufacturer procedures and safety standards
