Our client, a Franchised Vehicle Dealership in Winchester, is seeking a Service Advisor to join their team. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering excellent customer service, even if you don't have previous automotive experience.

As a Service Advisor, you'll be the vital communication link between our customers and the workshop, ensuring their vehicles are serviced to the highest standard. Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided, and you'll join a supportive and friendly team environment.

Duties of a Service Advisor:
  • Arranging and booking vehicle servicing appointments via telephone and email
  • Greeting customers and acting as their main point of contact during their vehicle’s service
  • Providing updates and consultative advice on repair work needed
  • Creating customer invoices and explaining work carried out in a clear manner
  • Proactively rescheduling future maintenance appointments
  • Liaising with Technicians to monitor progress and ensure timely completion of work
  • Handling customer concerns with professionalism and empathy
  • Upselling additional services and products to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue

  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to keep customers well-informed and reassured.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in processing service details and handling invoices.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage customer expectations with clear and consistent communication.
  • Proactive approach to managing your workload, ensuring every customer receives prompt and professional service.
  • Team-oriented mindset, contributing positively to the dealership's goals and supporting your colleagues as needed.
  • Basic understanding of automotive services (advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided).
  • Commitment to continuous learning and development, with a desire to achieve accreditation within the first year.
